ReNew

ReNew is an ecumenical thrift store that was founded in 2008 and is supported by eight area churches. The charming boutique provides friendly, local shopping while raising funds to assist local individuals and families in need in Essex, Willsboro and Westport. The store sells clothing, toys, appliances, house-ware and furniture of all kinds.

Stop in for a look around and consider donating goods you no longer use.

To make a donation or volunteer, please contact ReNew through St. John’s Episcopal Church at 518-963-7775.

The maximum grant for an individual is $1000 annually, and a maximum grant of $2500 annually for families. Grants may be awarded for rent, utilities, medical expenses, car repairs, insurance, etc.

ReNew also provides clothing and household items to families at no cost.

ReNew is a legal entity of St. John's Church, and enjoys a close relationship and much support from the Essex Community Church, The Willsboro Methodist Church, The Congregational Church of Willsboro, Foot Hills Baptist Church and St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church, as well as the support of the community at large.

With an all volunteer staff, ReNew is a respected member of the local social services provider community.
